A man, Bob, and his friend Joe went out hunting. This was Joe’s first time ever hunting, so he was following Bob’s lead.
Bob saw a small herd of deer and told Joe to stay in the exact spot he was and to be quiet!
After a few minutes, Bob heard a loud scream. He ran back and asked Joe what had happened.
Joe said "There was this snake and he slithered across my feet, but I never screamed.
Then there was this bear that came up to me and snarled, but I never screamed."
"So then what did make you scream," Bob asked, exasperated. "Well," Joe continued, "two squirrels crawled up my pants and I overheard them say, "Should we take them home or eat ’em now?""
Reminds me of the humor of Will Rogers! Thanks for the chuckle!

I throw and cup and saucer at you, or I send a bullet your way. A chipped tooth if the saucer lands just right, but you might be dead with the bullet.

Thank you for the schoolin', topix!
Firearms aren't the only implements used for hunting. Also, hunting is a more controlled way to balance nature.
As an example, look at deer hunting.A 1:1 doe/buck ratio reduces herd populations meaning fewer deer go hungry and improves their health overall. If you think I'm wrong, check out various state records for antler sizes on deer killed during hunting seasons.Since the records are being broken yearly,it is hard to say that hunting harms deer.

So how does a person get to be a moderator in this horse and pony show.I'd take the oath and give the governing body that wants to hear, days worth of testimony about why guns are not harmful.Humans without training is harmful.Drug dealers, thieves, etc. should have no say so in the matter.Their priviledges have been revoked for their careless ways and actions or reactions.Policatly correct and not being afriad to take this topic to the core. What's really going on?

Yes, the citizens have the right to bear arms not just for hunting, but to protect ourselves from a well armed militia. This is crucial to our liberty.

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Pusser’s death. This is a man who was born and died among his people, his friends and his enemies. The man who "Walked Tall" and became a legend in his own time and an international hero.

Pusser won fame as a young sheriff who could not be bought or beaten by criminals. It was with raw courage and steadfast determination that Pusser crumbled a vicious vice and gambling ring that was terrorizing and corrupting McNairy County. This mission was accomplished at a terrible cost of not only his own disfiguring wounds, but the murder of his wife, Pauline.

Pusser is described by his friends and family as a quiet, kind and caring man, a gentle giant. Pusser stood 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighed 250 pounds. His shadow cast across the nation one of the tallest in law enforcement history. Pusser became an American folk hero. A native of McNairy County. A legend with world-wide recognition.
