What Do You Miss About Beeville

I used to live in that great small town! I miss going to eat at the King Bee Restaurant after going to a dance! That was the place to go, all my friends would be there before going home! What do you miss?

I miss going to dances at Las Flores dance hall every weekend and enjoying the great conjuntos that played there......I enjoyed dancing to Mingo Saldivar, Angel Flores Los Taumaulipecos, Conjunto Madrigal, La Tropa F, JJ y Los Centellas, Country Calida, Raul Ruiz y Los Campiones, Flaco Jimenez, Los Aguilares, Ruben Naranjo, Los Nobles, Los Tahures and many more conjuntos! There will never be another Las Flores and there will never be another dance promoter like Joe Alemar Arguijo; he just knew how to treat people and make you feel welcome there! I met the girl of my dreams there! Later we went our separate ways but she is still in my heart! Those were the good ole days in the hood in Beeville! I really miss those days!

I miss all the fine booty that I used to go out with! All those love sessions with my girfriend at my place, at the motel, at her house and dirt roads! She later went out on me with different guys but I also made a fool of her by going out with my reserve-a beautiful young lady, great bod and a damn good kisser! Thanks girls for your love that you showed me and gave me!

I use to live in Beeville and miss this girl I used to go out with; she was going to the college and she was the best thing that ever happened to me, I was very much in love with her! She moved away and left me all broken hearted! She was the great love of my life and I was lucky to have had all those good times with her!

I used to enjoy tejano music when I lived there in Beeville, Tx, on that great tejano station KIBL 1490AM.....KXTO FM [Tejano] and all their DJ's sucked.....I knew it would not last very long before it went under because it sucked big time! I grew up listening to KIBL 1490AM and I really miss that station!

Beeville is a small city in south Texas, not too big, not too small. It has three Texas prisons and two more in the area. It has a small college, it is located halfway between San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Tx, Best of all it has great people!

I used to go out with this girl named Cyntia and this other girl I was messing with didn't like her at all and warned me not to be going out with her or she would stop going out with me! Cyntia, I'll never forget that time we spent in bed together when you went to visit me. I still think of you and miss you after all these years! I made the wrong choice; I should have stopped seeing the other girl and started going out with you-you were way better!

I miss going to Ojeda's in the west part of town to buy barbacoba every weekend. This place had the best barbacaoba anywhere! Mr Ojeda was from San Antonio and always treated everyone with respect! I have since moved away from Beeville but remember that place!

I also recall fondly those times I went to Las Flores dance hall there in Beeville! Joe Alemar Arguijo always had some good conjuntos there. My favorite was JJ Y Los Centellas from Houston, Tx. The place was packed everytime they played! Another conjunto that kicked butt was El Conjunto Madrigal from Taft, Tx. Los Flores later was demolished; what a shame because it had a great history and should have been preserved as a historical site of Texas music! I cried when I found out that this great dance promoter and friend, Joe Alemar Arguijo had passed away! He was one of a kind, I miss him and his dance hall, Las Flores!

I miss all those great people of Beeville! I had many friends there and have lost touch with them since I moved away! The many great things about Beeville far out weight the bad things about Beeville!

I miss all the young booty I got in beeville! There were two girls that were my favorites and I would have sex with them. They hated each other and knew I was going out with both of them! Once I had a date with one of them and took her home about 10:00PM and rushed home to await for my other girl to call to go pick her up! It was fun in Beeville, my sex life was great!

I also grew up listening to KIBL 1490 AM, they had the best disc jockeys and the best Tejano music.....later KTKO came into the picture but it was never the same, all the DJ's sucked big time and I found myself listening to stations in San Antonio and Corpus Christi.......later it went belly up and it was no surprise to me and my friends.....We need another super station like KIBL in Beeville once again.....I miss Tejano jams here in Beeville!

I miss getting together at the 200 acre park and having barbeques with family and friends, tossing the football around, listening to Tejano jams on KIBL! There were always good looking young ladies at the park also. Now I live elsewhere and still have barbeques but it does not compare having them in the park in Beeville! I miss the good ole days!

hmmmm let me see..Its hard to choose between the wannabe gangs, the dirty streets, the bad a$$ hardcore police, the drugs, the other people TDC brought into town.....Dont get me wrong...I lived my whole life in Bee. But once I left..it was the best thing ever.
