Enough, this is obscene. they say connecticuts unemployment was 8% in june. We know they are cooking the books, rhode Island is over 10%,new york and new jersey over 9%. where do you all think the money will come from.? Maybe these Tea Party people have it right after all..throw all of them out of office regardless of party until they learn how to cut spending instead of increase our taxes to save THEIR JOBS.

how will he ever make do on 191K a year?? It is an outrage he should even be up for a pay raise making that kind of money. If he really wanted to help he would take a pay cut.

these salaries are obscene. Oh yeah they all deserve more....what a clown. I'm sure they will be clipping coupons from now on. Until taxpayers wake up and demand action, this nonsense will continue. Good luck Trumbull taxpayers.

Ralph is a very sleazzzzzy guy with no PHD. He needs to step down in September and he's going to need some help with that decision from Stephen Wright and the Board of Education.
I think Gary Kunshaft or Gary Cialfi would be very fine candidates.
Lets make a change!

Let's put this in perspective.
The education budget increased 3.7% and a effing principal is getting a 4.25% pay increase!
It's all about the children...yeah, right, tell me another one.

I'll give him credit for not taking the raise, but truth is - he's overpaid. I read about the one in Bridgeport thats making close to $240K, now thats obscene and he just got a $7K raise. Where do these overpaid people think us taxpayers are getting the money to pay these outrageous salaries and what do they do to deserve it?

BIG DEAL!! If he wants to do something worth while try cutting back the education budget so the taxpayers in Trumbull can stop being raped every year! The word is NO can't afford it you are not getting it! That position is way over paid. Bridgeport pays a little more I believe but they earn it down there but Trumbull?? Bulls --t

Yeah, They earn it in bridgeport. over 100 ADMINISTRATORS making over $100k. At least in trumbull we get top results. The only problem is that everyones real estate is worth 30%+ less than at the last reevaluation. We are going to sue unless our taxes are lowered the same amount. Politicians didn't think this process could work backwards but the lawyers say it does. Your car loses value you pay less. Guess what a home is an asset just like a car.We will see how they like 4-5% CUTS in pay every year for 5 years.

If the taxes go up we will be taking another 30% or more off them just to sell them.I sold real estate fo many years and this same scenario has played out in Bridgeport for many years. The house was worth the asking HOWEVER because the taxes are so high people had to drop the price 25-30 thousand. People will still buy but they are not going to pay what the house is worth and sky high taxes. I heard it many times"i will pay the high taxes but I am not paying top dollar too something has to adjust downword and it is the asking price. If a class action suit is going to be filed please post it here and let everyone know what Attorney to go and see. Thanks for the info. I have to say Tim is starting to make me nervous with all the talk of future renovations to the schools. We have not been told yet how much our taxes will go up for Trumbull High School. Somebody better clue him in that the Education part of the budget is why we are being raped in Trumbull, it is not the Town Services side of the buget thats for sure because we don't receive too much. The least they could do is include our trash pickup in our tax dollar
