Yes, in times like these, it is the most vulnerable, blameless and innocent who suffer the most. Consumerism is the religion people practice in this society, and the living are forgotten, with the voiceless going first. We who care are working as hard as we can to do what is right -- humanity "domesticated" species and it is up to humans to take personal responsibility for sheltering, caring for, protecting, and ensuring the safety of these most deserving of all. Cats, most especially, are deserving of love and caring, and it is up to us to rediscover compassion, kindness, and humanity, and step up to the plate and take responsibility for ensuring their wellbeing.

What is happening to the money we are paying the government to care for these animals? They are killing them; and it cost as much to kill as to spay and neuter them which is the answer.
Let's show we are a humane people and demand the same from our mayor and Gov. |
