I love SFCC. The staff is great, the teachers have TONS of education and experience, and the price is right. Everyone should go to SFCC!

it has been my experience, unfortunatley that it is not all peaces and cream.
I might begin by saying I am a senior citizen and do pay a reduced credit cost and for which I am thankful and usually take classes for non-credit purposes as I already have two degrees but that is not my point.
My point is that I was given the impression by one of the depatment heads and who shall remain unnamed that the school or at least this indiviudal, does not encourage people like myself and pushes to have us matriculated because the school gets a reduced reimbursement for us than fully matriuclated students. It is my feeling that it is our generation who voted for the bonds to build and grow the school, are now in a position i.e. retired and should not be unnecessarily discrimimated against because of age, employment status or because we don't bring in the same amount of reimbursement. Or as most things in this country, all about the money and not about education at all ??

I really wish you had a better experience at SFCC, Joe. The faculty and staff at the school is actually very supportive of the students who attend. This is a public institution which is supported by the state and therefore makes no profit. I don't know who, other than the cashier, would know how much tuition you pay and I don't know who would really concern themselves with that fact. Students should (and as I've observed at SFCC do) receive a quality education regardless of the amount of money they pay to attend.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Pisces

Family, friends and in-laws are all hard to please. It is better to please yourself for once, dear Pisces, than to bang your head against a wall. You need to relax and get in touch with your own feelings. Do not hesitate to speak up for someone you care about. Someone may try to curtail your freedom. Set them straight and do not give in.
