After Jeff took over, there was a big change and not for the good. I gave it a chance but eventually left and started using Scott's.

Maybe things are different now, but they certainly were not good the first few years Jeff took over. Scott's has nothing to to with Gregg's...why are trying to shame them for a business policy. You say Scott's lost a customer, but you were never really a customer. Gregg's lost a "long time" customer. I knew Gregg for years. He always treated me right and had a great personality. I'm not saying anything personal against Jeff. He was always polite...at the time, he just wasn't doing right by my standards. Don't make it out to be anything more than that.

I have the right to state my opinion just as you and every potential customer whether or not they have paid does not negate the fact that I asked for service which they could not provide had they have I would have been a customer Jeff has always been fair and he stands by his work. I had transmission work done he broke the gear cable he replaced it and let me know what had happened an honest mechanic is such a commodity these days and to your statement of don't make it something it isn't I haven't but you in fact are trying to make it something it isn't scotts couldn't handle a service request Greg's did I don't think I threw scotts under the bus I simply stated my experience with them. And again had they have provided the service the could have gained a customer and if I were satisfied they would have retained a customer but anyone inquiring into a business is a customer whether service was rendered or not.

Dude, learn proper sentence structure. I take 3 breaths during each of your run on sentences. Do people NOT realize they look like idiots when they post like this?

You are kind of full of yourself.

I just commented that I thought it was funny that you thought Gregg's was great and I left there because they weren't...Jeff was running up the cost on every repair was my experience. But that was several years ago and as a consumer, I did what was right for me...I found another garage to go to. Happy auto repair to you!

They didn't say that they "couldn't do it"...they say the "don't do that." It's their policy. Get over it.

I used to go there but started getting very high bills. I took my vehicle to another location for a second opinion to find out some of the things they had listed where ok. Never again! tona wrote: <quoted text> funny...I started using greg back when he was behind Gladny's Autoparts and well after he moved into the current location. Who is the loon and the idiot...I mean, really? I still have someone that judges my every post clueless * nuts * spam Been doing that for over a year. But I digress. Hope you have a good week.

Never again! <quoted text> Which place are you referring to here, Greg's or Scott's...to me, they are all over priced but what choice do you have...a mechanic's rate is pretty much the same no matter where you go, unless it is smaller shop just getting started. It is about honesty, integrity, respectful service. I have to trust the folks working on my transportation. I just didn't feel I could trust Jeff any more. Like I said before, perhaps that has changed. But I like Scott's, so I'll probably just stay there.
