Within 3 months they will announce a fare increase and everyone will whine about financial hardships, ad nauseum. If someone knows of any other public transport route in the United States that shuttles people nearly 50 miles for 3 bucks, please let us know.

So what. If the service is good it would be a bargain at 5 bucks.
