Just another pathetic display by the public school systems. The officials probably think they are saving the world by upholding their code.

Do these educated idiots have nothing better to do. Keep it and sue the hell out of them. This has to be a first ammendment violation.

I can see him getting suspended in previous years when the Bengals were more like 2-6, but at 6-2 maybe the principal should get his hair cut like that.

Its funny to me that these schools deal with kids as their profession and yet know very little about them. If the school would have ignored this kid's hairstyle, it would have been a big deal for about a day before the kids had something better to talk about. By setting him aside, the school is making a much bigger deal than this should be. Shame on the school I'm sure there are more important issues they should be concerning their time with.

I think that the courts have ruled that schools may regulate this sort of thing. That said, I personally think this is about a bunch of adults on a power trip.

What's the kid supposed to do now? shave his head to get rid of the distraction?
Bengals should adopt him as mascot for a gameday and send him to a rich kids private school.
Win, win, win.

Technically we don't use Paper Legal Tender. Out "paper" money is actually made of a cotton blend.

But back on topic, this is a joke. Let the kids have fun.

When I was in school, the guys would shave/cut designs, even our school initials in their hair. I guess the kids with all the different colors are OK and not distracting. If it was somekind of gang
symbol or fowl language, I would understand. I think that some of the people who make up these school dress code policies never did stuff like this in school or may have done thing much worse but now that they are responsible adults are a bunch of hypocrits.

They should really hold themselves accoutable for acting in this way.
Much better our kids be interested in a successful team, showing his team spirit in this way should be recognized not punished.
We allow them to wear team shirts!
We truth be told ignore the most important issues and focus on silly petty things to control.
I agree keep the haircut keep winning and make him a mascot!
Better him focused on a team than on drugs , alcohol, or anything else that could ruin his future.
Freedom of speech and HAIRCUTS!!!!
I would love to see him on TV for the next win!!

If they make an exception for Dustin, then where do they draw the line?

If a rule is to be enforced, it should be enforced fairly and predictably.

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Capricorn

Happy New Year, Capricorn! I don't think the hair of the dog will help much this morning! If you're socialising again today, keep a rein on your expenses, as there could be a slight confusion in financial matters. Friends will be at your side and bail you out if there is a crisis. Use your strong internal discipline to accomplish your personal goals this year.
