I agree with interested. This murderer needs to be put behind bars for the rest of his life. Everybody praise Jesus and have a good weekend.

I agree this whole situation just needs to be put in the past. I just want to say for the record that no one is in jail, as was stated in the last post, because no one was ever proven guilty. I don't even know if it's going to trial.

Why don't you people just mind your own business! You have probably gathered your information from hear-say. Someone wrote, "I've gathered the facts from the newspapers". Are you kidding me? The media is more corrupt than anyone I know. You might as well get your information from The Nationial Enquirer.

I gather my information from one of the victims wives. And Trish, there is going to be a trial now, in February. Hopefully we can just get this behind us all and move on, and FYI, Reggie is being charged with two mistemenors, not felonies. It could only be at most about a year. He's not a cold blooded murder, and he didn't ruin the name of the Church of Jesus Christ, he's a young man who was involved in a terrible accident and may or may not have contributed to the accident by using a cell phone. It's up for a Cache County court to decide, and not a bunch of people online.

Rivka, It looks like justice has prevailed. Reggie plead guilty to two counts of negligent homicide for killing two men while he was texting and driving. It looks like the "poster boy" may have lied to you and the rest of his friends, just like he lied to his clergy before going on his mission. Maybe next time you might actually believe the police when they say there is evidence to show he was texting while driving...but then again, ask Reggies opinion on the matter, I'm sure he won't lie to you this time.

Trisha, did you finally realize that Reggie had lied to you? He wasn't texting his parents, in fact he originally called 911, then hung up before the emergency dispatcher could answer then called his mom to come to the scene. His mom was on scene when he was sending and receiving text messages. The sad part of the story is he duped you and his other friends to make you believe he was innocent when in fact he lied to you all. He did kill those men while he was texting...I know he plead guilty to it in court. Trisha know do you know you were lied to? Probably not, and it's still everyone elses fault.

This is an example of what happens when someone is texting while they are driving.

These pictures are extremely graphbic and this is not a re-enactment.

If it really was that big of a deal you should of tooken care of it a year ago when it happened! Alot of people die everyday in car accidents why are you making a big deal about this one? STOP USING HIM AS A POSTER BOY JUST SO YOU CAN PASS A NEW LAW!
Thanks! God Bless Reggie Shaw!
Yeah, they should have TOOKEN (don't you mean taken)? If you're too stupid to spell, you are probably too stupid to give your opinion.

Every one is really smart and really tough behind a computer, and behind there little screen names, I think its great. Anyways maybe we can see the good that is going to come from this tragic case. Its been 3 years and its easy to see that Shaw maybe was not honest early on in this case but he is trying to do the right thing now. It may or may not be a case of to little to late for all of you on here and maybe for the families, but it seems to me that some of the things he is doing now for the local community and for the state of Utah, when it comes to bringing attention to this texting problem we are having might be beneficial to us all. I don't know, he did take 2 great mens lives by a stupid and selfish decision, but now 3 years later he might be saving yours. I don't know just a thought. He could be a "good guy" or he could be like you said a "scum bag." But I don't know him and I'm assuming most of you don't know him so maybe we shouldn't make a judgement either way?

Poor Reggie,"He didn't do anything." He KILLED two innocent people because he was negligent and personally I cannot stand a STUPIDASS. He must pay for what he did. What if he killed your father and brother because he is a STUPIDASS. Would you still feel that he did nothing? Appaerntly there are alot of STUPIDASSES in the world.

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Sagittarius

Happy New Year, Saggitarius! Despite the headache, your motivation level is high today, setting a trend for the rest of the year. You'll be surrounded by relatives and friends all year and will work passionately to help them, as you do. Things go smoothly today, and you're absorbed with the duties of new year. Be careful that you don't neglect your own health, though. You can't help others if you're run down.
