Are the others' formalities and his selection a foregone conclusion? We'll know soon enough. Good thing the SC agreed that GD have a plan in place.
Edsmart Groton, MA	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Feb 12, 2012 He's done in GDRSD as of June 30. Peabody selected him as its new Supt. on Thursday night. Gee, is anybody surprised? The bottom line is that GD provided him with a training ground. Isn't it interesting that he left Peabody...they had an interim Supt. and then ta-da! Guess who gets the top spot 18 months later? Does GDRSD feel used?
Term Limits Groton, MA	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #4 Feb 15, 2012 At last night's school committee mtg., Berta Erikson & Alison Manugian each announced their intention of running for re-election to the board. Ms. Erikson's been on the board for at least 6 years. Time for a vacation. Her educational experience is appreciated but it is caught in a time warp with no forward thinking. We need term limits and some new blood to serve.
