Far from a scientific poll but half the votes for Wasserman? Surprised.

This ought to lead to some strange attacks like the last polls did. I'm sure all the Walker supporters will come out and start bashing their enemies again. Just wait.

It is very unscientific. I just voted twice in a matter of 5 minutes and both my votes counted. This is going to get skewed and weird very soon. Just wait.
My guess is that a lot of misspelled attacks are in our near future, just as soon as the pudgy-fingered ex-mayor finds the poll. |

Good to see that Mike Mauno hasn't gotten a single vote! Too bad Rod got 1.

1 Interesting that they left of Charles Deemer, but they probably should have left Dave Ouwerkerk off too. Not much chance for victory for either. I wont reveal who I voted for, but this poll looks a lot like a poll of my circle of friends, although our top 3 would also include Numark. I think Barnett, Furey and Numark would work well together, and it would bring a high level of intellectualism to our Council. Not sure on #4. But I know I dont want Tim Goodrich. I like what he stands for, I just wish he would be himself instead of pretending to be what he thinks we want. Don't like the big outside of Torrance fundraising either. |

Good to see Pat Furey at the top of this poll. My wife and I, along with our daughters, will be voting for Pat. His leadership in the North Torrance community is enough proof to us that he will be a great Torrance City Councilman.

I'm voting for two proven leaders in our community: Gene Barnett and Pat Furey. The rest of the candidates are unproven commodities. I know Pat and Gene personally, and know that they are truly interested in serving Torrance and making it a better place. They are not running for higher office or trying to be politicians. They just want to make a difference in our community.

I live in Torrance, CA. And I've already picked my 4 candidates that I will vote for...it was actually easy after the debate. One man of the group has enought integrity and understanding of the law and public policy to take a stand that goes against the tide. That man is Gavin Wasserman.
The rest are all saying pretty much the samething. So, I'm going with the people who understand the importance of maintaining Torrance as a balance city. The one person I do not like is Tim Goodrich. Pure and simple, he is carpetbagger with a progressive/socialist agenda trying to use Torrance as a springboard. And worse he lies about his purpose and his past. |
