So I'm going to assume your wanted to see your post on the internet. Shame on you. If you had been there you would have seen the lifeguards doing their jobs heroically.

Surf123 is right, a 17 year old kid died out there, and half the people here have no compassion at all. What would you have done if you were in the same exact position as my brother? This incident did not only hurt the family, the pain they feel is written on my brother's face. He is putting himself down because of it. Not only does the family have to deal with the loss of their son, they have to put up with all the jerks on here talking negatively about something they have no idea about! You should be praying and asking God to send comfort to the family rather than trying to make you feel better about yourself because you know how to make a serious situation worse. Shame on you and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Im a friend of the Giglio Family, Vinney Giglio. One of the surfers who was at the scene. Know that many prayers from El Segundo Four Square Church went up on the behalf of Dexter and family on that day. I continue to pray for peace, love,and healing through this most difficult time for the family. Dexter is a beautiful young man whom is present with the Lord. His story has impacted so many youth, including many in my family, on the precious gift of life we are given here on earth, as a gift from God. May we honor God with our days and know Him as our maker. In His name, Roxanne
