Bail bondsman with ties to Risken case found dead

I just watched the 48 hours special for the second time and was sad to hear about the death of Henry Hoskins. I actually had to rewind the tv because I was SO shocked by the fact that he would commit suicide, especially since everyone else that has been murdered in this story has been shot in the head. How could that be a coincidence? I mean, what are the odds???

I think that Henry knew something, and someone close to the case wanted him dead. If he was talking to friends about starting a new business, and had a girlfriend, children, a bail bonds business, why would he do it? He had too much to live for and he was the closest person to Sonia (outside of her family) so why would it be such a giant leap to question how he died?

I pray for justice for the families involved in this entire case, and also for peace to the families left behind to grieve these horrible losses.

I knew Henry very well. He was a good man. I know that Henry would not kill himself. He called me the day before he died and we had plans to meet the following day. Look under the line where the girlfriend is. Why would she be calling the GPD at one (1) something in the morning. I was told that she was bringing dinner to Henry at around 8 p.m. Something just don't add up.
RIP Henry and the best to Henry's family.

I don't think I've really ever meant Henry Hoskins, Although, when He spoken, I've immediately picked-up on his accent Southern U.S.
somewhere in the mountains, Asise from that I don't buy the Suicide scenerio cause in the real world the authorities can make it appear that way to the public for the time being in search of more involvements in these crimes over the last (3) years! With that said, from what I read and seen on TV, it appears that (Henry) might be involved with Sonia back to 1987, Since he known her for (25 yrs) 1982/83, and dated her, called her his friend, than after her murder, he bad mouthed Sonia calling her devious, a person capable of anything, what does that say, I believe Henry might be involved here...Lets what to see what Forenic Police Science will prove to be...I'm sure I'm not the only one out/there thinks/ "Larry" Your a stand-up man/reporter, Keep On Charging!

Harry, Good to hear from you. I was a good friend of Henry. I will NEVER believe he committed suicide. He was a man of very strong character and would want us to get to the bottom of this. I sincerely hope this case is still open and being pursued. I will never forget him. I am bitterly disappointed with the outcome of the "quick" investigation. Even the Gardena Police knew Henry well enough to know he would not take his own life...

on the death of Henry, your comments, along

Well, Thanks (ED) for that piece of Information, Unfortuately, We do not have the power, to change the past events.(But), "We can make a diiference for a better Future"!(Keep In Touch on this Forum), Enjoy, All the Interesting Thoughts, willfully shared here. My persistant and curious nature will not allow me to rest, until these events (Be satisfied and put to Rest)

Mine is a curious nature too Harry. A touch
of sad reality though suggests to me, that the
full story of the Lomita Black Widow's web will
not be known for years yet, if ever.

My current curiousity has me wondering when the
trial of Delacruz & Romero will be held, as it's
over 5 months since they pled "not guilty." I
think it more likely the defense is the delay,
than is the D.A. I will definately stay in touch.

Through-Out, From the Beginning of these mystery murders, The 1st Killing (Bourdeau) 87'...The Insurance, should not have paid out those $$$, to Sonia, very poor Investigations Done, It took Larry
Altman, Reporter "Daily Breeze", to shake it up, after he learned of "Larry Risken" killing in PI, that was because of a Tip Larry received in his E-mail, from somebody who knew Sonia, and Earl Bourdeau, that person open this up! Then, 48/Hours CBS, Got Involved, of course there is $$$ to be made. Mt take, on Delacruz/Romero,(They got themselves involved trying to extort $$$, from Sherry Jackson (Larry R/ Sister) for return of urn.
Judging from the position of Sonia (Body), after she fell to the ground, it appeared that she might of been begging for her life, before being shot.
Unless, Real-Police, evidence is at Delacruz/Romero
Trial, I remain optimistic in my belief (Sonia was
killed by a professional hit).

Harry,- a professional would not have missed,
at the hair salon. No offense, but you seem to
be grasping at straws. Delacruz/Romero are of
course innocent until proven guilty. It will be
interesting what evidence the DA puts forth, in
the trial, that has not yet been made public.

(1) shot and missed her, The Glass/wihout the Straw,(Who and Where (WITNESS'S). A busy and thrieving business area! Are they All Deaf, Doubt,
Blind..(Description of the auto/escape vehicle).
The straw routine, is all wet. because it took the keystone cops, only 6 months to find there killer's, still better than waiting just (2) years
to make an (ARREST).

to me, for you to judge the LA Sheriff's Dept.
to be "keystone cops." Having worked private
security, beat, patrol & supervision from 1981,
throughout the greater L.A., CA area, until my
retirement in 2002, and having interfaced in
harms way a few times with many LE Departments,
no two departments impressed me more than the
LA County Sheriff's Department & the Gardena PD.

My boots on the ground in L.A.'s streets, in

The point is simple, as simple as the nose on your face. First of all (ED) if your still reading and
want to help solve some of these vexing murder mysteries! Your statement to me was "If he
was a professional" then he never would of missed his target (Sonia), I find that statement
without much merit because of this (ED) If someone took a Shot at you and missed, and saying I'll be back, at your work, Guss What, Do you think you would unlock your door and let them in
to finish the job, Remember (ED) Sonia knew her killer or killer's, "That statement was made not
by this arm/chair detective, rather but Detective Rodriques, the on-the-scene Investigator, Remember Detective Rodriques "MADE THE ARRREST" Blow some holes in that if you can!

This is of course by Assuming the following, as probabilties,(1) The person who entered Sonia/Hair Salon, Is Crazy; (2) That person worn a disguise; (3) Sonia paid that person to stage
it so, the investigations of her involvement of the other murders, will be slowed, but, bluring it
with a fake assassition of her. Remmember (Sonia) said she remembered the voice, she said
that vioce "I'll be back" was the same as the last customer who just called to make appointment.
Also, Sonia said that she captured that call on her phone. This murder is just weird and crazy.
