His 20 year old girlfriend might know more than she's willing to acknowledge. She sounds like a gold digger.

Look out Larry...you seem to be the only one left with any close association to the Risken case (in South Bay). Watch out for head wounds...

Larry- I know you thrive on sensationalism and drama stories, but I question the human side of you and when is enough, enough? I wonder if when writing this article you and all of the people who commented, even considered how you have affected the real people in Henry's life. I am highly offended, hurt and embarrassed by your reporting. Perhaps before getting your story to the press and discussing girlfriends, affairs, murders, etc. you should have considered the affects on the woman who devoted 30 years of her life to Henry and the down syndrome brother who lived with Henry, that is now subject with having to comprehend suicide. I hope this made your ratings.

As sad as it is, sometimes people take their own lives and we may never know why. I'm sure the police and the coroner, based on the evidence, can say that it was self inflicted. Don't start some conspiracy theory based on no facts.

This case is destined for another Dateline or 48 Hours episode and has more potential offramps than the 405. Reporter Larry has done his job well and probably left out several other interesting connections to this story in order to have time to thoroughly investigate each degree of this man's life. Hoskins life ended bluntly...but the story seems far from over.

He can't cover every angle in 1 story. Don't know if Larry is planning any human interest follow-up stories or not, but this stuff fits. His reporting is accurate and "it's news". You probably want to find someone else to write the obit.

You devoted 30 years of your life to this man and he left you for some bimbo? I hate to sound mean and cruel, but he's no man to me.

This article gave me the information that I wanted and what I consider news worthy. I can care less about some woman who gave 30 years of her life to do whatever because there is always someone else out there that has done more for someone else, but where else is there story about a bail bondsman found dead who had close dies to the beauty salon owner shot by her nephew after some scandalist emails send to the family members of her 2 deceased husbands who died on trips back to her homeland.

If you are disappointed, live with it and move on. Larry has done a great job covering this story. Everytime something else comes up, people remember the Lomita Black Widow mysteries as much as we remember Reggie the alligator.

Stay clear there is something wrong with this picture. I knew towards the end of Sonia life somthing didn't fit. She was not herself, you would make an appt. and she would call back to change the appt. even if it was only about a 5 to 10 min change.
I like your stories in the DB. Thank you for the updates.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
