totally disagree with this statement the Rotter's are "the problem"
and Hans is sick so he can not get involved let him go on a vacation with his wife and enjoy life
p/s: they have now the right Chiefs and the Indians are doing a great job
Zoe do who have anything better to do then go on line and talking a mess about people. who really make me sick with your comment.I really thing you have a lonely life.If you don't have any thing good to say about the Rotter then move on with your boring life.I don't thing you know what it going on you probably heard from those people who things they know it all.Until you find out the truth so please move on with your life do something good for your self and your family.don't forget that God love you just the way he loves the Rotter.

Has Oktoberfest been cancelled??
I have family from Cancun coming on vacation in Sept.
According to their website the Oktoberfest will run from September 12th thru October 19th. You can go to www.alpinevillage.net/oktoberfest.htm to check it out, incase they revise the dates.

Wasn't Oktoberfest always held outside in the Beer Garden? Being that the Beer Garden is a mound of dirt right now, and September 12 is less than 2 months away, where will it be held?

When did 95% of the stores in Alpine close? Only one is closed, Lorries Card and Gifts and there are people who want to rent it.
*Confused*
I didn't make myself clear by what I meant by 95% of the stores. My apologies.

I meant 95% percent of the original "German Themed Stores" that made the site a "German Themed Village" when it opened are now closed.

Dentist's offices, Traffic Schools, and most of the other current businesses like Bingo and the Flea Market don't fall into that category.

Zoe, after understanding your agenda that now Alpine Village will be better managed than ever, I feel you are being really irresponsible by doing the "Woot Woot, tell everybody to come on vacation here, it will be the best Oktoberfest ever, it will go on as scheduled starting September 12, Woot Woot, we will have a ball!!!

I hope nobody will alter their vacation plans to come to Alpine Village based on your recommendation most likely only to see the same mounds of dirt. Irresponsible, and maybe worse, leaving yourself open for litigation. "Woot Woot"

Now that would be a ball!!!

If a house can be built in a few days, how long does it take to through up a beer tent?

And I go camping a lot and pitch a tent in less than 15 minutes, so I guess that answers your question. MORON

Then they are overly optimistic or have some huge reserves of cash hidden somewhere. No way will the Beer Garden be ready in time. They have to have some kind of fallback plan.
