Police Officer Fired After Writing Mayor's Son A Ticket

Cpl. Joshua Rowell, a new guy to the five-man police force for the small town of Stockton, Utah saw car try to avoid a DUI stop that was set up. Rowell did his job, thinking nothing of it and pulled the suspicious car over.

He did disobey a direct order from a superior. The mayor obviously fired him because of his son and I bet the mayor would have found another way to off him.

This is all so stupid! The cop himself says when he is told that it's the Mayors son, he says, "oh crap", so what does that mean? If he knew that it was the mayors son he wouldn't have given him the ticket? Therefore preferential treatment? Maybe they should both go!
