Alpine Academy employee accused of raping student

Jonathan Carver was sentenced today to 5 to 30 years in prison. A sentence he richly deserved.

Where are the apologies from those who defamed the kid in this case? They should all be ashamed of themselves.

It is a problem that none seem to believe the kids who are the victims in most cases so they never reach the court system.

By the time parents or the authorities choose residential treatment, they have experienced so much manipulation by the kid that they don't know what to believe when they are told about abuse. In fact 99 percent of the programs warn that they could be manipulated by the kid using such claims.

In fact it is the old story about "crying wolf" once again. It is sad because there are a lot more of Jonathan Carver's taking care of kids in various residential programs. We are only seeing a fraction of what is going on by this case.
