I think the judge was right to chastise the man for grinning. The other thing is even though they were only 15 17 and 19 at the time of the murder they still know right from wrong and know that their actions were horrendous so there for they need to be tried as adults. I know the family pretty well and I am glad that they have closure but I think it would devistate them if 2 out of the 3 were tried as minors and pretty much got away with it. Just think if they can get away with murder now what else they think they can get away with.

Hold on a second "sister", robert got all the help possibly available to him while in the juvenile system. The probation department went above and beyond in helping him, so don't speak on what you don't know. What is comes down to is the lack of support from the family and what Robert had been through as a child and adolescent by his parents and family.

Regardless of if you are related to our friends with either the victim or the suspects. The fact remains that not one but four families are affected by this trajedy. No one wakes up one day and thinks that someone in their family will be murdered just like no one wakes up one day and decides they are going to raise a murderer. Obviously something went very wrong with these three kids/teens/adults what ever you want to call them. They were old enough to know right and wrong at the time of the murder. The victim didn't deserve what happened. It was a horrible crime that truly saddens me as I live in Bonner Springs. I am also a store owner and to think what if it was me breaks my heart and puts fear in my veins.
The suspects deserve to rot in prison. They didn't just hurt someone, they killed someone and ripped apart a family. I have no sympathy for them at all. Yet as I stated earlier I do feel for their family. So your brother was scared... he damn well should be. Prison isn't a friendly place and it looks like he'll be there for a long time. |
