trick or treating

is the trick or treating day for toms river on oct 30?

it says on the sight for the halloween parade that trick or treating in toms river is always the day before halloween so im assuming so.

I don't understand that with all the horrible things going on in the world, why a parent would want their child going to houses of stangers. Especially taking them out of not only their town but to a different county for a piece of candy!

I don't know why trick or treating isnt on Halloween.
That's the occasion u trick or treat for. You cant just go changing something that's been around for a hundred years. A parade, so do what I and many others did where I am from. trick or treat on your way to the parade and on your way back. and our parade was bigger than the one here.

Be glad you don't live down in Cumberland county.
Millville, Vineland and places around there trick / treat the Saturday before halloween from 3pm to 6pm.

That's it! The crime is so bad down there they can't have trick or treating on Halloween.....curfews are set and you better NOT be out past that time(if you are under 18)!!!
My sister lives down there. It stinks

Anyway, you'd think the tricksters would be out for candy by now(4:30pm) :o/

2nd largest Halloween parade is in Toms River. Only the one in The Village is bigger. And the Parade has longer-standing tradition in this town than trick-or-treating does.

Its not the biggest in the U.S. sorry. Jersians tend to think they have the best and know the most.
If the parade is so important, have it the day before.
But two days of trick or treating is a bit much.
