I too remember bonfire nights and also remember that everyones fireworks were pooled together to make it fair for all. I also remember at the Christmas party, the teachers would serve the kids, a once a year ritual. Just to remind everyone, I was trhere from 58 on (D56). Great days. Would love to see any photos of that time if anybody has any.

Irvine Holloway, Thank you so much for beginning this topic, it is a painfully pleasurable (only cos we are all aging!) trip down memory lane and several of the er 'survivors' have contacted me.
You were a few years before me but your name rings a bell from perusing the sports records as we frequently did to find what our target was! I wondered what happened to the sports records. I contacted the Herbert Art Gallery and museum and they do have some records of some "shtuff" from Cleobury but I think it was more to do with the admin side and meetings with the council. Plus you have to pay to view each article.... Anyway thanks again so much. |

Hi martin. I was at the school from 67 to 72 and was in Blount B22.
The young matron who married baz was Miss Duce. I am still in contact with numerous old boys, Andy Hudson, Dave Mellor and Graham Thomas to name a few. I am now living in France and expecting a visit from Graham Thomas tomorrow |
