Parts of the article read;

"According to Chrysler insiders, the theme of Mr. Marchionne's speech outlining Chrysler's plan for the next several years is "expect the expected, and especially expect the unexpected."

"....She said it "is a good sign" that Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner was invited to attend Chrysler's announcement this week. Public officials from other towns also were invited, but Mrs. Handler implied such invitations likely were offered to those whose cities would hear good news."

why did you leave ouy the rest?? who is spinning what now!!

Mrs. Handler said that while the Wrangler facility's future is solid, the Liberty and Nitro factory's future is less certain.

"Even if you add some Alfa-Romeo and other Chrysler-based product, if you only have the Liberty built at that plant, that's probably not enough," she said.

Why should I copy and paste entire article when it is easily accessible from the link at the top of this page? No one is spinning anything Jeep1. Just a few interesting points in article that may (or may not) make readers want to read the entire story.
By the by... I'm DAMN proud of both of our Jeep facilities as well as our Toledo Machining.. And as for the Nitro and Liberty... thats old news.

Don't fall into there trap TNAPWIFE. They are still mad that we got the 2 new factories!! They have hated us since Chrysler bought AMC. Even if the Jeep Cherokee saved Chryslers butt. Which it did. There are good things coming. Even if they get rid of the Liberty..it needs to go..we will have something to replace it. The Wrangler is doing great and with the new engines coming it will only get better. Don't be surprised to see some more stuff built on that line. If anyone invites Carty to the party it is going to be fun!! He will probably take credit for everything!! I can't wait.

It's sad that Chrysler products only have a 4% customer satisfaction rate. I've owned 3 Jeeps, but the new wrangler has been in the shop 4 times in a year. I will not be buying a 4th Jeep. It's something I thought I'd never do, but I'm looking at Toyota for my next 4x4. What the heck happened? I cant afford a 30 thousand dollar leaking pile of junk that wont run... and it's new.

Jap Junk? That junk is made in the USA where my Ford was made in Canada with parts made in Mexico. I'm buy USA only, but there are few US vehicles worth a darn. Dont get me started on my leaking Harley or Ford with the jerking trans. I pray the Jeep plant hangs in there. Jeep saved the world in WWII. Few vehicles can say that.

Want more jobs? Throw all the Mexicans back over the fence. They're 20 million strong, dont pay taxes and breeding like rats.
YOU pay for all their food, medical bills, housing and their education. How much was your food bill this month? What did it cost to pay for your child being born? Theirs was free. YOU paid for it. They are a drain on the country.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
