Has there been any update on this case yet? Has she gone to trial?

there is no justice in stokes co all they want is the money they give up justice for greed

she is an innocent woman...he is the drugee loser who died from things he was doing to hiself

I was Very close to Billy and She has been crazy from day one. She Killed the most wonderful person you could ever meet.Did she really think she could get away with it? I hope she rotts in hell and even that would'nt be enough justice!

Im guessing you didn't know this girl at all, because if you had any idea you might have a change of opinion. where did you get she was tryin to raise to girls, because she was definitly in flordia working as a stripper while her kids were her living with their dad

It has been 15 months and there hasn't even been so much as a trial date set.

For those of you who think's she is guilty - get off your high horse, if it was as obvious as you seem to believe, she would have gone to trial a long time ago and they probably wouldn't have waited until 13 months after Billy overdosed to take her into custody.

For those of you who think's she is innocent - I'm sure Jessica and her family appreciate you defending her and I thank you on their behalf.

For EVERYBODY - none of you were there, none of you know what really happened. I'm enough of an intellegent adult to admit that fact and I hope one day all of you will have the same pleasure.

I knew them Both Very Well! I know Billy and lots of his Close,Close friends. I do know that he was taking care of those kids on his own. I have it from the closest people and myself that billy didn't do drugs as well as drink. And i am almost certain that the blood test said there was no drugs in is system. I don't know the answer. but i beleive in Billy, not jessica

Im sure that it will get resolved soo enough. Like I have always believed: what goes around comes around. I knew either one, but if She did do this Im sure it will come back to Her. She will also have to tell Her children why She killed their father. I know I wouldnt want to be Her.

for all those wondering, Jessica pled guilty to second degree murder of Billy Nash and also to two counts of conspiricy to commit murder on Jan 15. This should resolve the issue for all of us. Regardless of who was right and who was wrong, a good man still lost his life.

did you know billy? he was my second cousin . from what i understand there hasnt been any trial yet . am i correct? i talked to his aunt at christmas but they seem to not want to talk much .

I was in the court room when Jessica pled guilty. She did not take the stand, instead the detective working on the case did and testified to his findings during the investigation. (aloo, there is a write up about it in the Winston-Salem Journal for January 21, 2009). Let me reiterate that she is GUILTY by her own admission. She was sentenced to 26-38 years. However it is important not to overlook the victims in this tradegy, Billy Nash obviously, his parents who are without a son, and his two girls who are without a father.

I did not know Billy but I do know Jessica ... I thought it strange that it took so long to go to trial only to have her plead guilty and receive a deal of sorts. This girl has mental problems that hopefully will be addressed while incarcerated. I keep her parents and Billy's parents and family and those two little girls in my prayers everyday. Hopefully she will make peace with her maker or her real punishment is yet to come....
