Buster has some great ideas!

Say What! I see nothing wrong with this at all. Just what can it hurt? To be a member you have to agree to the rules. So let it be it might just cut down on the divorce rate. And not so many marriages. There's not much in the town now I again see no hurt. This is a tourist town I say a nite out might do everyone "good". Hee Hee!!

Be a shame if someone in Titusville got some. Fuming fundamentalists probably have a coronary.

I do not see what the big deal is...... Just the Christian Crusaders fighting anything that they do not approve of. i heard that the former police chief was a member and that is why he resigned.

Wow it's really great to see all the support!! People shouldnt judge something they know nothing about in the first place. But lets set some things straight,drop the rumors about the former police chief, thats just what it is a rumor! Also, Erie Native , thanks for the support, but how about more discretion and lose the name dropping please! Thank You....ONE WHO KNOWS

Last time I checked "Buster" was a nickname. Get a life!

We used to got to Otto's all the time in the late eighties and early nineties. If he runs this place like his bar back then you have nothing to worry about. I will go in and have a great party. Sign me up..

He was just asking you to be respectful & let it be his choice whether his name (nickname or otherwise) gets posted on a public forum. Everyone deserves that regardless of the topic.

Adult-oriented business applied for in Titusville

TITUSVILLE — City residents who feared a swingers club might be operating in Titusville still have something to worry about.

An Emlenton man has filed an application with the city seeking an adult-oriented business license for a building at 227 W. Spring St.

The application, filed on March 12 by Otto Schiberl, does not state what type of adult-oriented business is planned.

City Zoning Officer Tim Lorenz said Thursday his office has asked Schiberl to provide more information.

Schiberl could not be reached for comment Thursday.

The proposed name of the business, the Burning Embers Club, is the same name of a reported swingers club residents found referenced on the Internet in February, Acting Police Chief Gary Thomas said.

Residents alerted members of Titusville City Council, and that spurred an investigation.They found no licensed or established business there.

For Schiberl to obtain an adult-oriented business license Lorenz said he must undergo an intensive investigation.

Schiberl must undergo a police background check, according to a Titusville ordinance. Thomas said Thursday his department has started the investigation.

When that song came out in the I think maybe, 80's. Titusville had a "Swinger's Club" back then and has always! Whats so wrong now? Sounds to me like people with all these's comments are many years behind time.

What's wrong now is that some closed minded people, who think that the world should only act and do as they do, have found out about this club and started a big fuss.
It will die down. it always does. I have seen it before and it will not change anything in the end.
I have yet to see one swinger "converted" by the Christian Crusaders who start these things and try to stir up trouble.
