Review: Jonathan Salon Red Bank

Elizabeth cut my hair recently and gave me a bangin' style. You guys requested that I send a picture for her portfolio on the website, so here it is. You guys are awesome, I've recommended the salon to everybody, including my sister who has an appointment coming up. Thanks again for the amazing style. I am so in love with Jonathan's salon! But I think it more Ryan that I love. He is the most talented hair stylist I have ever met and Ive been in the business too. From the second I walk in the door till the time I leave its pure FUN! I have never walked out of that salon/or in Ryan's care disappointed. A+++ <3

I honestly dont think there is anything Ryan cant do. From coloring to cutting to styling,he is one of a kind. I walk in one person and walk out another. When you sit in his chair your hair become his! And its his masterpiece from start to finish. And what he creates is by far pure genius! Ryan you kick ass and I love you

Can he color my hair a tint of blue without taking all the hair clips out? huh?

I recently got my hair done at Jonathans Salon by RYAN.... I can honestly say that I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. No one else will EVER touch my hair.

I recently had the pleasure to have Bre' cut and color my hair. I am new to the area and was nervouse that i would not find anyone to make me happy. Well i no longer have to worry, Bre' will be my stlyist for life. Not only did she make my hair look out of this world she made me feel so welcomed. I love her unique stle and her ability to create a new look for me. What a talented young lady! thank u so much

Ryan at Jonathan Salon not only fixed a disastrous color mistake and horrifically unflattering haircut I received from another local salon, but he created a hot new look for me and totally exceeded my expectations for any hope whatsoever I had to recover from my unintended nightmare style from the other salon. Not only am I completely happy with the job he did fixing those mistakes, but he went above and beyond with not only his recommendations but also the execution of a fabulous new look for me that I could not have imagined. I intend to continue using Ryan at Jonathan Salon exclusively – he worked wonders with my wish for natural but radiantly vibrant red hair and he put his craftsmanship to work for a one-of-a-kind haircut. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to look their best and have already done so with my friends.

I'm about a week into my haircut and I can't believe it. I paid $56.25 which by the way, includes a 25% discount. Not to mention the $8.00 in tips. Just for a simple haircut. All I know is I'll never go back there again. I was totally dissatisfied and it doesn't even look like my hair was cut or styled. I hate wasting money, especially in these times, but that's what I did here. Never again. She obviously didn't listen to my instructions/request.

Jonathan is a master colorist. I absolutely love love love the cut too. I simply can't keep up with the complements I have been receiving from strangers who pass me in parking lots and in the mall. Bravo Jonathan!

First time at your salon and Jonathan cut my hair, I can honestly say it's the best haircut I ever had! During our conversation I learned so many things that make this salon unique and different from all others in NJ. Good luck with your education center plans and your second location in New York city! I will be back.

I had my hair done by Jonathan and makeup by Grace on my wedding day on June 6th. Grace also applied Lavish Lashes for myself and my mother (I received so many compliments on them even weeks after the wedding!). My whole wedding party had their hair and makeup done at the salon that day- they all looked so beautiful thanks to such a wonderful staff. I don't think I have ever looked better in my life thanks to their amazing talent! They are two lovely people and made myself and my loved ones feel so comfortable that day! They made such a memorable day that much more memorable!!

Are they expensive?

Heather is the best!!! She actually listens to what her customers want! She spent a considerable amount of time talking to me about my hair and helping me decide what would work for me. I left with beautiful hair.. the cut and the color were even better than I had hoped. I would recommend her to anyone, anytime! She is friendly and warm in addition to being a great stylist. All of the other people that I encountered in the salon were wonderful too. Jonathan was very nice and welcoming...everyone treats you as if you are important. I loved my experience. I have found a new salon home!

I just moved to New Jersey from Memphis, TN two months ago. For a woman, getting your hair done should be an event. I decided to try JonathanSalon and pray for the best. My prayers were answered and then some. I have never had a coloring job like this in my life. When my husband notices and mentions what a great job...well enough said. Jonathan is a master artist and I am sooo glad I went with my gut and made my appointment. All of a sudden our recent move is looking so much brighter! Thank you Jonathan.Sincerely,

Do you know where Heather went?? She gave my son the BEST haircut ever. We went back this weekend to another stylist there...not so good. I wish that I could find out what salon she went to!

Heather was caught with JONATHON~~~and his wife "let her go", lol! Don't think she will be back any time soon.The whole place is a joke.I agree....the hairstylist are extremely talented,but its VERY expensive & Jonathon is a bit too snooty for my taste.

Lynne Bee - I absolutely love you as you beat me to it! Jonathan Salon is the biggest joke and he is the biggest rip off artist there is. Go around town and start asking how many women lost their hair due to their extensions. Snob does not even cut it; you are being way too nice. I hear Heather is in jail.......

These are slanderous comments about Jonathan and the salon and are completely untrue. This salon has a great reputation for a good reason...it's a great salon that cares for it's customers and the way people look when they walk out of it's doors. We take particular exception to people such as yourself who make these obviously malicious comments. But then again, are you even a real customer? Why don't you reveal who you are so we can send you lawsuit papers for slander and then we'll see who the Joke is....
