I was recently divorced from a diagnosed psychotic/schizophrenic.

I have residential custody and I'm supposed to be paid expenses and stuff but the ex doesn't do anything the court says, much less take the medication they're supposed to take.

I was hoping that the divorce would free me from the daily trauma of dealing with a spouse with a severe mental illness but it hasn't.

Has anyone else divorced someone with mental illness?

How do you deal with the insanity of it all?

Why Are you not taking her back to court? That's what they for.. Contempt of court.. Keep a paper trail!!!
