My husband and I would like to retire in this town. What is the matter of their location problem. Mainly too far to go to any job, for the younger college adults. Don't they have schools for the children as well as a hospital close, a bank, or have these closed down, and is there a bank?

My husband and I would like to live in a small town, which is close to a Seventh Day Church, if possible. We would like to buy a older home and spend our retired years in South Dakota, as this is where our son also, lives, however he is in Rapid City.

Sincerely yours, Fran Schultz

Fran: Lemmon does have a Seventh Day Adventist Church, a school and two banks. The closest hospital is located in Hettinger, ND--less than 30 minutes from Lemmon. Sadly, as you mentioned, the community doesn't have much to offer for young people in terms of a variety of job opportunities--but nonetheless, Lemmon is a wonderful small town full of good people located in the heart of the beautiful Great Plains! Hope this helps!!!

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Capricorn

Happy New Year, Capricorn! I don't think the hair of the dog will help much this morning! If you're socialising again today, keep a rein on your expenses, as there could be a slight confusion in financial matters. Friends will be at your side and bail you out if there is a crisis. Use your strong internal discipline to accomplish your personal goals this year.
