I love the crabs.... but I am willing to go two years without in order to bring them back.

Are they crabbers or whiners? If there's a possibility that crabs are being over harvested let's err on the side of caution.....or they'll be sitting on that tailgate permanently in the not too distant future.

The only ones saying it was a good crabbing year are the watermen talking to reporters. There was mostly white crabs out there from June thru October. There's something seriously wrong with that. Crabs should be fat and heavy by the fall.

But hey, pass me a glass of that Kool Aid and I'll tell ya it was another fine year... just like the last three or four bum years have been, lol. Yessirree, pass the Kool Aid around brother, maybe Annapolis won't impose a moratorium when those white bellies die in the mud this winter.

This is why Larry Simns and his commercial crabbing group CANNOT be allowed to have anything to do with deciding the crabbing (or fishing) regulations. Otherwise, they will fish until there are none left, then beg for a bailout.

Oysters, herring, rockfish, terrapins, sturgeon, sea trout, yellow perch, clams, crabs... history keeps repeating itself. And the public has to keep paying for it. It's time to shut down the good ol boy network that's ruining our bay and then smiling in our faces and saying "there's nothing wrong, it's always been like this". So long MWA, you've done enough damage. Thanks alot.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
