look at the scum that lives there, it's not the landlords fault that people don't clean up their trash and their homes.. And why fix thing over and over again if the tenents keep destroying thing. Its not his responsibility. It's the tenents to fix what they break. Look up new York state landlord tenents law. He only has to fix what breaks from normal wear and tear that he owns, not what the residents purposely destroy.

Check with health inspectors about mold!Law suit!One rotten layer over another,several layers,lets just cover it up again,lets go against the code inspector and just do what we want,we are landlords and we dont have to follow laws,we can put peoples health at risk and will continue to!Leaky toilet,landlord doesent know how to put in new wax seal after removing toilet,ceiling fan held up with rope tied to cup hooks,huge holes in floors and walls,yeah,the landlord fixed them,he sprayed insulation in them!I have plenty of pictures if anyone cares to see them!

If the landlord had more pride of his/her property he/she would not rent to tenants with no pride.The landlord should evict those who do not keep their space clean and do not repair whatever is their responsibility.The landlord should repair whatever is his/her responsibility and call the exterminator if necessary.Of course there are some landlords who do not care so in turn they get tenants who do not care and this could very well be the case with that particular building.

for one the landlord tries his best to take care of that building takes money out of his pocket to fix shit that the scums keep breaking but the scums that live in it should try a little bit to help keep it clean or the landlord should kick them out on their lazy asses if i was the landlord id kick them out and sell the building because there is no helping it after they lived there

As long as welfare exist this trash will exist. There is no need for these people to have PRIDE as long as they have welfare.It's a way of life here!

I rent to people all the time ,makes no difference who pays the rent you still have problems. I have a very nice place and expect people to take care of it and I immediately maintain whatever needs to be done.Granted there are many dirty and care less people here,but there are those who do choose to live decent.It's sad that landlords will take money and not maintain and I do understand their reasoning.Yes their are people who live on the system who take and take ,as long as the government has the laws it has it's how it's going to be.There is right and wrong in the situation.Being a landlord I see and hear things all the time and I get furious it all falls on deaf ears. Until there are people in positions and places that will do what is right that will not change. I hope someday to sell and be gone but until I do I will still maintain renting in a respectful manner.Good luck to all.

Six times my tenant has offered to give me items n leiu of rent. Once a car. Whe I appreciate the sentiment I wNt cash not trailer, cars, stereos.
