Dixmont's Community Ambulance prepares to - tone out' June 30 closing to force towns of Dixmont, Etna, Newburgh and Plymouth to find new service Butch Cole, 63, and his wife Virginia, 58, have been running Community Ambulance out of their Dixmont home since 1994.

We will miss them. The ambulance service has saved and enhanced many lives over the years. The response time may never be duplicated. These are caring folks who treated patients with kindness, professionalism and respect. Thank you, Butch, Ginny and crew!
