There is a dentist in Raleigh that accepts medicaid. His name is Dr Campbell.

Here is the website link for all of the NC people who are looking for Dentist/Orthodontist in NC. If there are any others missing, I'm sure you can locate them based on the cities. The only catch is....you have to be determined by a dentist that it is a health issue. Not sure what my sons was but his pallet (the top of your mouth) goes norrow, so maybe that has something to do with it. There is a orthodontic in Hapeville, Ga that takes medicaid and will try to get you approved for them but it took us 6 months or more to get the approval. Good Luck to all of you!!!!

Her pediatric dentist has informed us she will need braces and possibility will need a consultation as early as age 8 1/2 which is less than 1 year away. I don't know if this work will be covered.
