ROCKLAND : The 68-year-old Matinicus man charged with shooting a fellow lobsterman last month asked Thursday for a civil lawsuit against him to be dismissed, saying he fired his gun both in self-defense and to protect his daughter.

this guy deserves the full force of the law those Islanders bought the land not the ocean they deserve nothing more and should have their ass in jail this isn't the old west hope he goes to jail and loses everything he has..

You don't know the whole story from what you have to say here. Brush up on it. it is self defense. They boarded him while out on the water, all prior to the dock incident ++++++
