What do you know about the villages of Parkwood. Any information would be great. I am not 55, but retiring and like the villages.

If the 55+ age group is over 80%, you can move to The Villages. No children under age 19 may live with you. The Villages of Parkwood is a family community for those with younger children.Visit www.myvillagesconnection.com and post your questions there. A very friendly Villages forum with folks that are more than happy to answer any questions!!

I guess Parkwood is okay. The amenities are promised, but in this economy, not necessarily delivered. The prices are unbeatable, but the square footage is small and the homes are built on top of one another. The neighborhood next door is Bison Valley and is built by the Villages. You don't have Villages amenities access, but you have a legal golf cart path and the benefits of a trusted, local builder.

I live in The Villages and I am very familiar with the Villages of Parkwood. Without going into detail I will just say NOT TO BUY THERE. They don't stand behind their word. We are in the process of getting a lawyer to get back our downpayment.

No it is a family development. Stay away from the Villages of Parkwood. They make big promises and don't deliver.

Would love to have a name at the attorney general's office. I have also had problems, and know of two others, and would be very interested in talking to someone.

would never do that. I don;t even like the Villages --too big and health care is not the best. There are other areas if you want to stuck in the middle of the state and have to Travel to Jacksonville and Gainesville for good health care...Think about it. Ok for the winter...sold the house got out and much happier. Now I rent in an area that has good services and close the door and leave.....

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Libra

You know what they say about this being the season of goodwill to all men? Well, you get the chance to put it into action today by being understanding, tolerant and compassionate towards the people you meet. This doesn't mean you should condone anything awful that they do, but simply that you need to look beyond that to the larger picture.
