With the Democrats, it is all about power and they will run over you any way they can no matter where you stand or what you want them to do.

Look what is happening in Washington with the Demo Congress today. Gonna do it no matter if the people want it or not to show their power.

Actually many people are leaving both parties. Arkansas is Democratic state. It is a conservative Democratic state. Democrats have super majorities in both houses in Arkansas. People are not happy with either party. I hope that the Republicans do not go towards the fringed far right wing of their party or they will risk being a regional party in the future. Can't elect a southern Republican in the north or on the west coast. The Republicans are attacking the moderates in their own party

Would a conservative democrat be a moderate???? Have you ever heard a mainstream media refer to a extreme left wing anything, or even a democrat refered to as left wing?? I figure a conservative is either a conservative or he`s not, republican or democrat.

They have to be one or the other. Left wing-Moderate-Right wing. The moderates are in the middle of the road with the yellow stripes and dead skunks. GW

moderates are the ones who get things done and do the real work, they are the ones who think clearly and make more sense. People from either extremes make little since.

People in the middle of the road are there because they can't make up their mind which way to go. They are too wishy-washy to make a stand. Their motto, "Can't we all just get along!" The Democrats do not want to get along, they want total control. The Dems like moderates because they are easily swayed to their way of thinking. They hate Conservatives because our values will not allow us to side with them. We will never be convinced that killing unborn babies is a good thing.

If you dont stand by the platform dont join the Republican party .
Kay Bailey needs to be kicked out . She believes in the right to an abortion our platform does not . She should get the boot with the rest of them moderates .The healthcare bill that was passed last night has jail time invovled for those not buying health insurance . Forced by our so called government . This is OUTRAGEOUS an un American . When you could get fined up to $250,000 dollars for not buying into something the government forces down our throats we are all in trouble .
Its UNCONSTITUTIONAL !!!!!!!!!!

HA HA HA GW. Uh, justhinking.....think a minute in real political terms here, you can't govern with just "pure" hard right conservatives, nor can the democrats govern with all hard left liberals. Where policy is made is in the middle, elections are won in the middle. 70% of the people do not like either extremes. As far as a fine, the fine will not go up to 250k because most people can not pay that much. You get that number confused for where people who earn less than 250k will get a tax cut and those earning that much or more will get a tax increase. I am against the manditory policy of making people have health insurance. But I have a couple of questions to as you justhinking....What about auto-insurance? You have to buy auto insurance to drive a car or else you get fined and/or your car get's towed is that socialism? You have to wear your seatbelt or else you'd get a ticket, is that constitutional?

You have to buy auto insurance because you want to have and drive a car. They want you to buy health insurance just because you are there. Big difference.

What is the big difference?
What you mean is it is a must to have a health insurance, yet no insurance on the auto you go to the doctor in.
BS!

I would be ashamed to call myself a Democrat, either conservative, moderate or liberal. You are giving our Country away. Next on your agenda is the legalization of about 15 Million more democrat voters from South of the Border. Then you will finish us off with Cap and Trade. The two will finish the free enterprise system.

I agree with you. Fineing someone for not buying health insurance is unconstrtutional. Besides not buying health insurance is not putting other peoples lives in danger. Driving a car on the streets or highway is an entirely different situation. The bottom line of Obamas and the democratic party is to put at least 90% of the american people in what he will call work camps. The elderly and disabled who can't work will be counsuled on how to commit suiside and forced to end their life. Then Obama will say they were given a choice. BS ! There is a story in the Bible that relates to this very situation.

Hammer, you didn't read not a SINGLE word of what I wrote previously did you. If you want to get to whos giving away what. The previous administration gave the country away to the rich and the Chinese to mortgage our wars so when the Chinese call in the debts you can now say thank you GWB for making us the USA of China. Again Hammer, stop trying to be Tom DeLay, you cant think for yourself because the Republican party owns you and your thoughts. So I might as well be debating the Republican party. They own you, your vote, you thoughts, your feelings, you'd probably give them your life too. They own that too. I'll re-state this.

So in the end the insurance companies still get theirs. Ah HA, lobbyists, Insurance companies and their lobbists, they are soooo damn smart. Ha ha ha, government gets what they want, insurance companies get what they want, everyone goes home happy. Oh, wait a minute, what about those darn taxpayers fighting in the streets from Conservatives and Republicans vs Liberals and Democrats????? Insurance companies: screw them we got what we want, their money coming and going and we own the law makers. Both political parties: Republicans act like they vote against it to save face, Democrats vote for it to save face. Some seats maybe lost but who cares, seats switch all the time we're the only two parties not like the people have a real voice and besides we get paid by the people and get sweet deals by lobbiests. Ha ha ha we laughin to the bank.
Here's what I'm saying to sum it all up, THE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HAD. And what will the people do??? NOTHING why, because the people are stuck in the trenches to believe one way or the other and hate the other side. Perfect way to get want political parties want and they stay in power. This can be anything not just health care.

You sound like a fence sitter with your governing ideas . No you got your facts wrong maybe you should read or listen to someone who has read the healthcare bill its states if you dont buy insurance you will be taxed threw the IRS and if you dont pay the bill you will be fined up to $250,000 dollars and if you cant pay that then there is five years prison time you will serve . Talk about Chicago Style Politics .
No , Its all unconstitutional . Too many laws and regulations on our industry and people . Regulations and not giving the incentives such as great tax breaks to All industries to manufacture goods in America has strangled our economy .
