Fort Hood shooting: Texas army killer linked to September 11 terrorists Major Nidal Malik Hasan worshipped at a mosque led by a radical imam said to be a "spiritual adviser" to three of the hijackers who attacked America on Sept 11, 2001. Hasan, the sole suspect in the massacre of 13 fellow US soldiers in Texas, attended the controversial Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Great Falls, Virginia, in 2001 at the same time as two of the September 11 terrorists, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt. His mother's funeral was held there in May that year. The preacher at the time was Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni scholar who was banned from addressing a meeting in London by video link in August because he is accused of supporting attacks on British troops and backing terrorist organisations.

I'm not surprised. I think this is a good article explaining what happened that afternoon: http://www.thestate.com/166/story/1016886.htm... Muslim or not, I have No Doubt the Military will take care of this one, and I hope with Obama's blessings.

They knew about him and nothing was done. He had been turned in by several because of his rantings and hate America statements. Officers are held to a high standard and he in no way acted like an officer.

The news has constantly made a big deal of this man acting alone or calling him lone gunman. Suicide bombers act alone too guess you could say, but their teachings and what they have been exposed to while growing up---teaches hate of America. Ft. Hood experienced terrorism pure and simple. By one man, just like suicide bomber.

I Don't know that Obama is glad for anyone to be "as good as dead".( as passive is he is about criminals) The terrorist, whether home grown or not, killed Americans on an American base. That makes him a terrorist.

I believe the government is trying to not call it a terrorist act by a medical person on their payrolls because you cannot sue the doctor, but you can sue the government. Feres Doctrine?
I think it is called CYA. FBI dropped the ball and so did the government who was supposed to be on watch for this stuff.
It happened on Obama's watch also. I still would like to here President Obama say nice things about tahe United STates like he has Islam.

It happened on Obama's watch and he does not want to admit that fact. He wants everyone to believe it would only happen to Bush. But we know it happened on his watch and whatever he does to prevent the investigation and run to another country in the midst of that is unforgivable.
