Fat Jacks

Jack’s wife Meredith recently was injured. She suffered terrible burns over the lower half of her body.

Thankfully she is well on her way to recovery. You can’t put a price on that.

Doctors and hospitals can, however, put a price on medical care. And they do. Even with insurance, there are a lot of expenses not covered.

So this Sunday there will be a fundraiser at Fat Jack’s to help defray those costs.

It all starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the door and worth every penny. There will be live music by Texarkana’s favorite group, the Robert St. John Band, tons of food, plenty of brew, silent and live auctions with an incredible array of items and much more.

Count on a good crowd and a great time. Lots of people love Jack and Meredith. It will be a party.

And a chance to say thanks to the Mills family for all they’ve done for so many for so long.

I don't see where they are beggin anyone to go. They simply are letting those who can or would go know about the event.

Absolutely juvenile... Are you for real? Do you converse in person like you do on here? I've never posted on a forum with such craziness until I found Topix. The sad thin is I find it humorous at times...

My ex-husband use to drink but now lives a sober life.

lots of money was raised, good times,saw lots of people i haven't seen in years.Roger did a good job as the MC.
