To Tyngs-
You don't have to agree with me. If they are paying taxes, they will get their stimulus check. I am not interested in their private situations, I base my opinion on what I see, and every week I see where the system that is supposed to help them get back on their feet is being turned into a way of life and is being abused. I am not whining, I am showing my anger. There's a difference. My blanket statement and judgement was in response to the original statement that people who do not contribute into the system are upset because they are not getting a check. THAT is whining.

Could the price of postage also be increasing due to the astronimical gas prices? I would say they would with the number of postal trucks on the road. Consider it a fuel surcharge as if we have not seen enough of those lately.(I got one on a flower delivery, what next dominos?)

You wrote that SSI,SSDI recipients are 2nd class citizens and welfare recipients are 3rd class citizens. That is a blanket statement that I did not agree with.
"Guess what" never wrote SSI, SSDI recipients were 2nd class citizens and welfare recipients were 3rd class citizens. What was written was:
"It is not that they are second class citizens, but they are already taking from the system, not contributing to it."

Please read the rest of her/his comment.
"It is not that they are second class citizens, but they are already taking from the system, not contributing to it. Which in a way I guess does make them second class citizens, and welfare recipients would be third class citizens. "

If he/she said they were moochers I would think you would have a bigger problem.

If it was a blanket statement about all, yes it would be an ignorant statement.
