Official: Chelmsford sewer work could be done by 2012

Sewer Commissioner Barry Balan says the end is in sight. But before Chelmsford can bring sewer to 100 percent of the town, one final push is needed from Special Town Meeting.

Needless to say the Richest part of Town,The Carlisle Line is the last to get whacked for a connection into the sewer system. I would also not be surprised if the 'Needy" folk near the Carlisle line also get some type of grant money to help them integrate into the sewer lines.

South Chelmsford is also the only part of town to be without a fire station. I don't think anyone is going to get any "assistance" in connecting IF it finally happens. Much of this area was supposed to get sewer in '07 (as reported in '05). It's now dragged on to at least '09...

The Brentwood area is pretty nice, too, there are a lot of NICE homes around there. I'd say South Chelmsford is more rural in nature than rich.
