The top three web sites for jobs and networking (consulting & direct employment) are:
Monster.com
Dice.com
Net-temps.com

Put your resume on these three with job searches that dump all of the latest matches into your email address daily. You'll more than likely get more than you would believe.

The opportunities that exist on the job boards truly exist and it is an investment that is worth "every" dollar. This article certainly rings true as I am learning in my job search the value of such sites as The Ladders and Linked In.
Something else to consider as you are looking for the next opportunity: online branding. I highly recommend the book "Career Distinction:Stand Out by Building Your Brand" by William Arruda and Kirsten www.careerdistinction.com
Developing your online brand will give you leverage in your job search.(Try to Google yourself to see what you come up with...if you need help, the book referenced above tells you what you need to develop your professional brand. No ties to the authors...just an honest recommendation).

This article is purely a PR piece paid for by the theladders.com , an advertisment in the form of "news". That said, I personally know someone who got a great job from it, so who knows?
