Fairbanks Park

They need to drop the dirt fest it is a waste of tax money ! Bathrooms are a joke,parking,the dirty butts,and if you ask the park people to help you they look like you are nuts. What a waste!!

What? You mean changing the name to Fairbanks Park Arts & Music festival didn't weed out all the dirty butts? I'm shocked.

dont know what all the graping is about i thought the festival was like i was at home i got to see all my homies there,i just wasnt happy i couldnt find no one serving fried chicken ,black eye peas and watermelon.

was at the park last sun. when a man and women in a gray truck,new,and the man had a patch over his right eye, the lady had long brown hair--asked me if i wanted to swing? i asked what, the man asked again, do you want to swing? it took me about two seconds to say no after i realized what they were asking. i was shocked, and this happened at 5:00pm at fairbanks.. there are so many young people and kids that are at risk from these type of predators and i believe with all my heart that there needs to be some sort of security readily available to us or at least have they're presence known. even with my husband only 20 ft. away from me that day, it didn't stop them. what's next on there to do list? what can we do as a community to keep this park safe for all of us?

My family and I affectionately refer to this event as the SKEEZER FEST!!! Once the show gets to rollin' they should fly over with helicopters and drop nets on these people and have them hauled out of town...maybe take them to GITMO or somewhere to get rid of them. If nothing else take them to the dental schools so students can practice on all the different dental techniques required to become a dentist...if they can find enough teeth to work on. Terre Haute City Police need to put an office right in the middle of Fairbanks Park to help stop all the "butt bandit" activity.

I like Fairbanks park.
Sometimes I get alittle and sometimes I give alittle.
Either way I enjoy the park.

You know just because people don't have alot of money doesn't mean they are scum. This festival may be one of the few things that they can afford and enjoy. Leave them alone.

Or maybe, instead of going to silly festivals, they should spend their spare time trying to better themselves so they can lift themselves out of their current plight.

Maybe people are just comfortable not having to be high maintenance and enjoy their lives no matter what they look like. Maybe family and other things matter more than material items and apperances. Point is, no matter what a person looke like, we should not judge them. They could be one of the kindest people on earth, or better yet you may come face to face with them some day and need their help......it pays to be nice to everyone. Try it.
