I wonder what it takes to have a thread removed from topix? Knowing the right person or a certain amount of $$ might make it disappear. Some threads need to be deleted but this one was not really bad, just a lot of people who wanted to know why he disappeared without a word!
wondering the same

I tried finding a thread about a certain former public figure ... that was removed as well. Yes, he has money and I'm sure the right amount made it disappear.

All you have to do is hit the *Report Abuse* button, follow through and Voila! the thread will go away.
Dimwits should just sit down and shut up.

Don't bother, these dumbasses thrive on the thought of the almighty conspirators running and censoring Topix.

I totally agree with "hello" and "wondering the same", why do some
of these stay in the "Comments" column for long, long periods
of times and others are deleted in a very, very short time?

When I send in a comment, it does not stay on very long, does any
one know the answer? And I think some of viewers comments
should be deleted after about a month or so. Maybe I wrong?

Just sayin'

So you think if someone hasn't read the posts in a month they shouldn't be able to? Bet you think you're the center of the universe, don't ya?

Reading some of the comments people leave here just shows WHY communication is a lost art these days. Someone asks a sincere question and they get bombarded with the nay sayers loud mouths. "who cares, the dumb ass quit, he is here doing me, etc. etc." It seems that more people than not now days are not concerned about anything that "is not about me". SAD, very sad.

I don't really care what happened to David Wire. He was a bouncing clown. So nice to have an intelligent person like Kevin back . OK, he had some kind of prescription drug issue, but no matter what he did, he comes across as three times as knowledgable as the nutcake.

I seen Dave Wire today in Brazil. He was dressed as the statue of Liberty holding a sign for a tax filing company

The only thing that's sad is morons trying to sound intelligent by making general conclusions about society as a whole based off a handful of comments from a cesspool of a forum like Topix.

My daughter lives in Pendleton and saw him just briefly on an Indy channel there. She said she didn't see him long enough to tell whether he was working as the meteorologist or not. She texted me because she was so excited to see him. I miss him. He had a great personality. The reason we wanted to keep talking about him is because when you watch someone on television for a long time, and all of a sudden they're gone, it's can be hard to get used to. He is a truly nice guy. We don't watch WTHI news anymore.
