West Terre Haute's former police chief is arrested on charges of theft. FINALLY! Several of their "fine" residents deserve to be arrested!

And you know this because....? When will we realize that the court system is responsible for deciding guilt and punishment for criminal cases. We are not to judge anyone, remember your judgement day will come and I bet you would hope a little more effort and investigation into the facts were utilized in making this determination.

I'm sorry you misunderstood my comment. I wasn't judging him. I stated "Finally" because it has been over a year since all of this began. I am familiar with investigation & know every i has to be dotted & the t's are crossed. He is SEEN ON VIDEO! How guilty can one get?!?!?!
And I'm not worried about Judgement Day. I do know that one day my time will come & that is why I live my life the way I do.

How wrong is it of the West Terre Haute police Chief Don Lark to speak out when Mr Arnold has not yet been to trial. This sounds like Chief Lark has a personal issue against Mr Arnold. His interview was very unprofessional.

I didnt see at any time during the very short interview where the chief said anything about anyone being qiulty. just stated the fuel money was provided by tax payers and theft is not going to be tolerated. and to say its personal is proposterous the man was cought on tape for crying out loud. what does the chief have to "get back" at Mr. Arnold for anyway. and what the hell are you "CONCERNED" about

I say that Mark will be exonerated.
This bulls&^*t case has reached epic proportions
in regards to a media blitz, as opposed to more
recent, and serious, West Terre Haute incidents.
It has granted more attention than
a) Ofcr. Rick Porter and the theft of many
guns
b) 100's of 1000's of missing funds from
town employees
c) The legal/excused execution of Michael Mundy
Just to name a few...Im bewildered how Don Lark,
who by the way cannot read or write, has
more to say about Mark, then he commented entirely
on the Mundy murder????....How is the superb
irresponsible actions of "his" men" tolerated????
West T is in shambles, and Im emarrased to be
a member of the community..In fact Im embarrassed
to be a resident of the county, in particular, having to watch our part time prosecutor
botch every case, and bring frivolous charges
on people like Mark, while letting the heavy hitters
walk free...

You obviously live in a small hole and have no idea about what really goes on. The fact that these incidents have finally come to light shows that the county is attempting to clean up their act and get rid of the people that have taken advantage of this county. Mark is a nice guy. Anyone who knows him understands this, however, he made some very poor decisions that he will now have to face the consequences. Exoneration will not happen, you can take that to the bank. If pictures are worth a thousand words, then the videos will speak for themselves.

I don't quite know what part-time prosecutor has to do with anything. What cases have been botched? Seems to me like people are being held accountable nowadays. Who are the "heavy hitters" that you speak of? Do tell...
