Anyone have a story to tell?

Since: Oct 09

Hart County, KY.

Yeah! I went to Lowes today. The workers were friendly and helpful. My cashier was an older woman (early 40's maybe?) but she was kinda hot.

All in all, it was a good experience.

That's my story.

ll you have to do is press one of those little "Call Help" buttons they have in most departments and you'll here them page for help over the PA and someone will come. The paging won't stop until they show up and turn it off.

"early 40's" would hardly be "older". Maybe older than you - but hardly a generic "older".

Really enjoy being around a woman with a nice smile and personality even if God did not bless them with the most beauty.Age is beside the point.

My favorite store. I always get help right away if I need it. But honestly, I shop there enough, that I know where the things I want are and prefer to be left alone.

Maybe you should research before repeating gossip.. It wasn't hard to find which stores are closing.
Approximately 1,950 employees will be affected by these closings. Employees will receive pay and benefits for 60-90 days. In addition, Lowe’s will be working with local government agencies to help employees with outplacement assistance.
The Company is closing 20 underperforming stores in 15 states. Ten locations closed at the end of
business Sunday, October 16. The remaining 10 locations will close within approximately one month,
following an inventory sell-through.
The stores affected are located in:
Los Banos, CA
Biddeford, ME
Old Bridge, NJ
Westminster, CA
Ellsworth, ME
Batavia, NY
Denver, CO
Ionia, MI N.
Kingstown, RI
Aurora, IL Rogers,
MN Emporia, VA
Oswego, IL Claremont,
NH S. Tacoma, WA
Chalmette, LA Hooksett,
NH Brown Deer, WI
Haverhill, MA
Manchester, NH

I appreciate that you took the 2 minutes to research the above post and to tell the truth. Wish everyone on here had enough sense to do that! I knew the Glasgow Lowe's wasn't closing, it's a great store with employees that are smart & helpful! They have a lot of business. It's my favorite store in all of Glasgow!

Half of the lowes employees all have criminal records and are pretty rude. The guy that we asked about a refrigerator told us that we couldn't afford the one that cost more and was pretty rude to us.
