bovee is a lier! he is also a druggy! we need a new chief

I had just started a job in Pop & Docs at Decatur, and the night of Memorial day weekend I left my job, I swerved to avoid hitting about 4 people I could barely see them because their clothing was dark.. I think they were drunk & walking home, because it was a mad-house at Pop & Docs that night... I met a cop after that swerve & I supposed he saw my lights swerving so I got stopped. Asked if I was drinking tonight & I replied NO. I work in the kitchen & I'm going home.
Then the cop said, hmm okay well just a minute, and he was gone for what seemed close to 5 minutes. When he came back, he said "well ma'am, your red cellophane covering is ripped from over your back lights..
I thought THAT was a big deal?
But I just wanted the damn ticket, my joints were killing me, & I just wanted to go on home.
He wrote me a ticket for it & then sent me on my way...
I turned the corner (almost forgetting the stop sign) to get to the toll bridge to pay to go back into Iowa.
The toll bridge guy said " your lucky he didn't find more wrong with your car" (meaning my windshield).
It is shattered on the passenger side with 2 lines going across the drivers side....
I was shook up by then, then on the Iowa side after crossing the noisy bridge I nearly hit a big fat raccoon running in front of my car.. THEN I saw deer eyes out the side catching reflection from my headlights.
Needless to say, by the time I got home I was a nervous wreck.
I quit the job.
My car is 20 yrs old, I planned on going back to work there, but realized the next thing the cop would get me for was my windshield..
Neb patrol is out to write tickets for anything.
Remember the cops we had from the 40s, 50's & 60s 70's?? Now THOSE were the great cops!!
The ones nowadays are out to see how many they can give tickets to for whatever reasons.. they are not the kind to assist an old lady or old man across the street.

The old guy at the toll bridge is the worst! I asked for a receipt and he told me to go the long way. I paid the 75 cents with 70 plus 5 pennies and he THREW the pennies at me! Said he didn't have to accept them. I didn't have any other change. Must be the general attitude there amongst the locals.

While I'm thinking about it, before hitting the bridge I stopped at the C-Store a block away for a cup of coffee and a cheese & cracker thing. Sat at a table/booth with it, and when I got up to leave the "lady" yelled at me to "clean up my mess". She must have confused me with someone employed there I guess. The five foot walk to pick it up certainly would not have hurt any of the three "ladies" there, each weighed about 350. Have never, and will never stop there again

Decatur sucks and so do the cops. they should pull me over after drinking at pop n docs. i hate the onawa cops and very much belileve that they want my nuts. i'm sexy and drive a pos ford without a high school diploma
