BVS is a private gated community. How does a group home for troubled teens and ex-offenders fit in this community? I am living here for several reasons but one most important reason is the protected location that BVS has to offer. In addition, I'm paying for the additional security incorporated in my yearly assessment bill. I was asked to look into a claim regarding a resident that has previously operated a group home here in Bear Valley Springs. I found out that the woman also operated group homes in the Los Angeles area but has since been shut down by both the counties of Los Angeles and Kern. I did more investigating and found that the property in question recently had a transaction that transferred the property out of the woman's name and is now registered in a man's name with the same last name as the woman. I asked some questions around the vallely and found out the name on the property belongs to the woman's father. I cannot believe the lengths this BVS resident is going through to gain profits from a business that does not belong here in Bear Valley Springs. The resident in question needs to be thoroughly checked out by Bear Valley Springs E.C.C. to make sure that she is not doing any other illegal activities. I was informed by the E.C.C. that they are aware of the allegations regarding this woman and they are lookin into the matter.
