broadband internet in Pahrump?

For wireless service here, the startup costs are quite high. You'll have to pay for installation which exceeds $200 at least. Then, the monthly is prolly $40 or more.

I am becoming more and more LESS satisfied with Keyon. Speeds suffer and they say that's the best I can expect, then speeds get better. I call, they say sorry, they fix (maybe) then down it goes. Wish I could get DSL. Air Internet used to work out here then it also went to you know what in a handbasket, now they want $300 to hook up. No easy solution I guess.

I live on the south end (Homestead-Savoy) this was my bill when I changed over to AT&T. They came out and checked to see if service was available 3.0 mbps. Shipping 12.95 Taxes 5.68 Gateway modem 79.99 AT&T HSI PRO 30.00 total 128.62. Came by UPS in 3 days and was very simple to hook up. The diffrence is night and day compared to what I had with EZZNET, and cheeper.

im in southern western pahrump at&t does have dsl here cuz i have it

I'm in eastern northern Pahrump, AT&T doesn't have DSL here cuz I just checked again yesterday. Still jealous.

One day you will pick up the paper and DSL will be avaialable. They never let you know it is comming till they have it. I had 9.6 dial up for years. Over night, DSL. Now world wide radio for 3 years.

Has DSL by AT&T arrived in the area near the airport. When I contact AT&T I get conflicting answers. I'm new to the area and will arrive in January 2010.
