That must be the only job you get paid for while you're under investigation. Most other places just let you go. No wonder our county is broke.

Could it be that America is broke, busted, bankrupt, because there are still those out there that believe in a system that has been bent, twisted and turned, changed so much, that it is unrepairable...

This system we have has been designed by the politician for the politician and then there are "Law Enforcers" who stand above the law thats handed down to the "people" to make sure the politicians continue on their "free ride"... So yes, it makes sense that the Enforcers would get "paid" vacations while things are "manipulated" to set them free of any charges the rest of us must abide by...

One does not have to become a martyr to change this... But one "does" have to free his/her self from the brain wash and start using "common sense"...

Just a suggestion: One might begin by rereading Thomas Paine's pamphlet "Common Sense" as well as a few of his other writings...

The forefathers of this country fought to get out from underneath a system they felt was not for them... This began by refusing to "think" and "believe" as the system they were under wanted...

What is wrong with the people in this town? Is no one ever held responsible for their own bad judgement and bad behavior?

No woman should ever put herself in a public place, in a totally intoxicated state of mind, that she find herself making such bad decisions about her personal safety.

No man should be dumb enough to put himself alone in a car with, and volunteer to take control and care of, any woman who is found to be that intoxicated in public.

Bad decision for both of them! What is wrong with you two?

I think it's long past time for all adults to be held responsible for their own contributions to the shitty situations they put themselves in! Alcohol or substance ... you made the choice.

this young sheriffs deputy deserves a fair hearing in a court of law.
what doesn't make sense is, it seems he could do some kind of desk duty while waiting for his court date.
as far as the female involved she deserves a fair hearing too! are the charges false?
stranger things have happened.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Scorpio

Be careful how you handle a certain someone today because their mood is little short of incendiary. They'll jump down your throat if you dare to disagree with them, and then accuse you of being a wimp if you decide that it would be better to agree with everything they say. You can't win! If they really get on your wick, you'll have to give them a piece of your mind, even if it is supposed to be the season of goodwill to all men. Huh!
