when paricia cox was elected to NCBOCC in 2002 she asked for suggestions i thought that was insightful.
i suggest a shade to park the NCSD buses under. over time the savings might be considerable. are the buses still filthy dirty?

i suggest healthy snacks in the vending machines at the schools mr. roberts has indicated the NCSD needs the money. really mr. roberts? i suggest that to earn a doctorate in education one must sacrifice a ton of common sense! afterall an apple has value.

2 million dollars for a stoplight doesn't seem right. of course price will vary from project to project.
looking at the google i see some projects around a million. i urge the coommisioners to keep their kickback rate close to ten percent, lest someone get suspicious

How can you ask a question like that when we still don't have a theater, fairgrounds and prison? Federal funds will help get us the stoplights we should be pretty close on how many accidents at the 2 bad spots.

What do we need? We need the people that moved here from Vegas and California to STOP telling us what we need first off.

Then we need a few more conveniences, I am not anti growth.. but come on.. you have these bored housewives coming to town board meetings telling people we need Starbucks on every corner and chuck-e-cheeses for their kids.

A costco would be nice? Perhaps a Sams club for those of us that like to shop in Bulk.

Perhaps a nice theater.. but we don't need to become a mini north Las Vegas already.

And.. "healthy snacks in the vending machines"? Come on.. do we REALLY need to be the food police as well. Sounds like yet another "Brilliant" idea out of the Kalifornia.. next thing ya know the garbage police will be around to make sure we are recycling.. lol

Have to say I agree. What we need is people who RESEARCH the area before they move here, instead of moving here and crying "WE NEED THIS FOR THE CHILDREN"

Cant stand that line.. its SO played out.

Enough about the schools already. I don't even have kids and I am paying too much already in taxes for the people who want even MORE from the school district.
