Whoever owns this male not neutered dog with an orange collar you need to keep it on your property please. This dog has ripped up the bottom of my chain link fencing from the ground to the point where it is flimsy and pretty much useless. The fence cost 2k so I'm not too happy about that. I own my own dog which is restrained at all times yet I can't even let him run around in his own fenced in back yard without your dog picking fights with him through the fence. I can't even take my dog for walks because your dog will follow us and chase after my dog when he spots us. It's honestly getting ridiculous. I should be able to let my dog out in my own fenced in yard without having to worry about a dog fight. I have spoken with neighbors yet no one knows who owns this dog. So if the owner is reading this please keep your dog contained or at least trained to stay on your property. Any one else have any suggestions? I have tried putting a dog and cat repellent (it's a liquid solution) around the perimeter of my property but that hasn't helped at all.

Yes...shoot him. But not to kill...but with a BB gun.

Sting him good a few times on his haunches. Then...get some pepper spray or some of that dog repellent spray when you go walk. Give the dog a good dose then too.

He'll get the message REAL quick...It'll be a simple matter of conditioning.

You'll get the satisfaction of a little pay-back without the regret of goin' overboard...and possibly having a bigger problem on your hands later.

Thanks I'll have to see if my neighbors kids have one. Being in the animal care profession I don't want to kill the dog but I can't run the risk of this dog hurting my dog or redirecting his aggression to myself. I should also mention that my dog is my service dog and I NEED him for day to day life. Hopefully the bb gun will be a big enough deterrent. I'm still hoping to contact the owner, maybe my neighbors will find out idk, because if this dog attacks my dog or myself (or gets close to that point) I will have to shoot it.

I feel the same.....And, if you can get a single pump bb gun (like the "Red Rider" versions, then...as long as the dog is at least 20 feet away or so...and you make sure to aim at the body (anywhere behind the neck)...you won't injure him one bit.

It'll just sting like crazy...especially since he's a short-hair breed.

Just try to catch him almost as often as you can, so it'll make a consistent impression on his "attitude" -- he'll get the message pretty soon.

Note: If you get an "air rifle" like a Crossman brand or similar, those can be powerful enough to penetrate the skin...so stick to the more basic (cheap-o) single-pump models if you want to avoid injury.

But hey, maybe the owner will catch wind of this and keep the dog away...but, if not...you've got options.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aries

You're idealistic and impressionable today, and want to see the best in everyone. Look straight past their faults, pretending they aren't there; concentrate on their good points instead. If a new relationship gets off the ground now it will always be characterized by an aura of romance and fantasy, and a slightly otherworldly quality.
