They are saying the world will end in 2012 (for those that did not know). What do you think?

I for one think it is a hoax just like the whole "In the year 2000 all the computers will shut down and we will be in the dark ages again.". Post your thoughts on it. Lets try to keep this topic nice and friendly. No need for name calling just because someone doesn't agree with what you think.

I just think everyone needs to relax if the world end the world ends. Live everyday to the fullest just in case the world does end or you don't make it to tomorrow. Love you family and your friends, spend time with your children, don't be remember as the one who panic that the world was going to end. As I said up a few line just live life to the fullest!

Firstly, no I don't believe the world is going to end in 2012. Secondly, the Mayan 2012 event isn't the world ending, it's suppose to be a time when major changes occur, for bad or good. It was never meant as the end of the world.

I remember finding this stuff interesting in oh.. 1998 or so. And I remember thinking how annoying it's going to be when 2012 comes along and groups start making a big deal out of things they didn't actually research heh. This is not directed at you for starting this thread, just meant in general.(End of days groups, hollywood, people pretending they ever studied a foreign culture, etc)

If we ACT like the world is gonna end in 2012 then its a win/win situation...

If it doesn't end, we've been good to ourselves and others for a year, if it DOES end, we've been good to ourselves and others for a year. Those darn Mayan's were brillant.
