Since you want to bring up "his team" then lets just say "it is what it is and you are what you are". All you can do is ask questions and never answer. How is your buddy Satanbury? Whats he up to? I can tell you what he is not up to.....he's not firing innocent officers, fire fighters and city employees and replacing them with drug addicts and convicted felons and only keeping himself surrounded with criminals and kiss azzes that only live to do his bidding. Thats what he is NOT doing. I am sure he has found other innocent people to wreak havoc on and tear their lives apart.

Worthy has more qualifications to run this city then any that Salisbury had. Worthy has buisness sense, he knows how to treat people and talk to them. He respects people and listens. He's compationate and understanding. Please the next time you go to a city council meeting please stand up at that microphone and tell him what you think of him personally in front of every body!! Take a stance for once in your life and confront him in front of the council and audiance. Tell him what you just told us!!! Please to that...I beg you!!! Tape it and put it on youtube so every one can see that you did it and add that to your collection.

since december, this mayor and council have paid this goofy DPW, around 35 attorneys, an audit company 3 million dollars, I have the records.

why would you pay a DPW close to 3 million a year
and they dont own any equipment, they dont cut grass because of that, the city buys there gas, and nothing is getting done by those idiots, AND THIS MAYOR AND COUNCIL LAST TUESDAY JUNE 1, GAVE THEM A FOUR YEAR CONTRACT, WHY...KICK BACKS.

Fooled in November, I sincerely hope that you continue to post in this forum. People need to know what is going on. Could you clarify which council members voted no on that four year contract, was it only Monroe? By your name it seems as though you might have been one that was on the train before election time, if this is true then we all need your input, your insight. Well Worthy's term in office will go down as the most forgetable mayor who did nothing of note. The most inaccessable mayor who won't meet with you or return phone calls. And just another Mayor who spends money the city does not have. You see, the four year deal will try to insure that he has the dpw guys working on his reelection next year. Too bad its too late, this guy is getting kicked to the curb. and btw, who paid for the limo?

If all of these statements are true, the good citizen's have been scammed. What a shame! All everyone wanted was a mayor who cared, who would be there for the people, who would try to get the city back on it's feet. What happened? I hate to say it but the DPW won't be enough to get a mayor elected again, especially a mayor who has deceived the citizens. If these statements are not true, will someone please straighten it out. Things sure don't look good right now, did a food pantry ever open up again? There were enough people fighting to elect Mr. Worthy, where are they now. Can they clear up some of these statements or is it as bad as it is beginning to seem?

I agree he seems to have started out right, but now he is so deep in the sh** it aint funny. He also has hired known criminals from Detroit that live in detroit as city workers. I have two things to say. One is he has hired alot of family in the city official place, and the other is why are the people that voted for him complaining because they helped him win!!!!

I agree. If you ask them what has he or the council done all they will do is call you names or talk about the past "REGIME". All I have seen him do is fire a bunch of people and replace them with family members. He has even fired volunteers. The past of Ecorse over the last 30 years cannot be changed but the future of the city seems to be to become the new Delray.

Here is an idea.

Why not post POSITIVE ideas that will better the city instead of saying the same old crap over and over? I would like to think people in Ecorse are capable of better that just calling names and harping on the past.

i don't suport salsbery or the new guy but who else is there anyone ? some one steppin up ? we need someone with a j o b that is not in it for the money they can steel and give to there familys and there friends ......We need a persoon who has a family that already has a career all by them selves we need some people who are honest for more then a few month with 1 ss# no criminal record and self supportive ....

I wish I could say things have changed and everything is better, but the truth is: A New Day is "NOT" Dawning. Alot of good people put there heart and soul into the Worthy Train, only to be kicked in the pants. It is the same old stuff at City Hall. Sorry to say, but the Train has been Derailed. The Fire Dept. has no contract, the Police Dept. needs more Officers, but the DPW has been paid over 1 Million Dollars since November. Something is not right.

To knh: I agree, we need a decent, hardworking, honest Mayor & Council.

It seems to me, there was another candidate who showed a lot of promise...From what I understand the third candidate was an honest man. Hopefully he will run again next election. I believe with all the hatred toward the old regime, people were grasping at straws, trying to find someone who could make things better. The people who worked directly for Mr. Worthy assured the voters that things WOULD be better. They vouched for his character. Little did the voters know that he had plans of his own and they weren't to benefit the city, only to benefit his friends and family. Yes, this does happen with every election, and most politicians but not so blatantly as it has for the past few decades. I still have not got an answer to a question I asked a while back, did another food pantry ever open? If not, has anyone questioned the elected officials about it? How many families depended on the services of the food pantry? An understaffed police department and a fire department with no contract? THESE are the people that we depend on to keep our city safe!!!!! These people are being shoved aside and the DPW is getting the big bucks? Something is definitely wrong with this picture. Somebody from the Worthy team has to speak up and explain this, if not, then it is satanberry all over again.

Whatever, whatever!!!! From what I know the work environment in city hall, the police and fire departments are at a much higher moral then when Salisbury was in. No one is walking on egg shell and afraid to lose their jobs. There are no conspiracies by Salisbury and Anthony to fire anymore officers. Even the court sided with Salisburies neighbor in a law suit. I believe Salisbury looked like a stalking, spiteful, evil maniacle bafoon in the courts and the publics eyes. Yes so much of it has to do with the former administration. It will take years for the city to heal from what Satanbury and his regime did. Yes there are still numerous lawsuits in effect becuase of Satanbury and his two assinine, coward, yellow bellied chiefs. Every officer that has sued thus far has won their case. No one has lost yet.(Except for Watkins due to his untimely and unfortunate passing) There are more to come. That does not include the Class Action by former city employees that may be comming up as soon as the last officer wins his case against the city.

So while you are moaning and groaning about Worthy's high school diploma, look at what a disaster area Satan(f'ed up)bury did with his college degree. I still pray that he dies a slow agonizing death and rots in hell!!!!!!! Anything is better the Satanbury. Sorry you call us idiots yet you support and think Salisbury was better. That means you support a convicted sex offender (got copies of the paper work still) with three social security numbers and two alias. Worthy may no be a perfect or experienced mayor. Worthy may only have a high school diploma. But he is a hell of a lot better then that two bit scoundral you call Larry Sauceberry.(all of this is in my humble opinion.)We may look like idiots to you.....however, to me anyone that supports Stinkbury still and think he was the bomb is an idiot that probably got their own type of kickbacks from him.
